As you view all our furniture, notice the detail on each Yubos item. Our furniture is constructed the old fashion way. Every piece is designed to your specifications and made to last for generations. We use all kinds of wood, metals, finishes, stains and colors. Our shop, located behind our Houston store, is where most all of our furniture is made. What does Yubos stand for?

Probably the number one question that we are asked. Well, depending on what part of a Latin America, yubos (or yokes) is the Spanish name for the piece of wood (usually mesquite) that spans across the shoulders of the oxen. This piece of wood is tied to the plow. Yubos has been in business since 2004; we started out building furniture using mesquite and rosewood doors, using yokes cut and placed as legs. Since this time, Yubos has grown into manufacturing all kinds tables, chairs, cabinets, entertainment centers, amoires, bars, shelves, and our regular trips to Mexico bring folk art and accessories back to our store. Our customer base expands all over the United States.

How to buy from Yubos?

If you would like Yubos to custom make an item, a set of items, or a reproduction of an item that you have seen on our website or elsewhere, please email or mail us the description, dimensions, and sketch/picture (if available). Once we have an estimate, we will email you the quote. Prices do not include shipping costs to you, unless otherwise noted. Custom made items require a non-refundable 50% down and the balance due prior to shipping. Payment can be made with check, money order, or via Paypal - sales@yubos.com.
